The provision of overseas professional and commercial secondments or client placements as part of career planning is an important part of our commitment to the training and development of our people. All Fordham staff are encouraged to participate in secondments or career breaks once they are CA qualified. By the time they have completed four or five years with the firm, our people may have worked in London, Vancouver, LA or New York.
Broaden your horizons…
Not sure what area you want to specialise in? Or perhaps you might simply want to see what other specialists actually do? At Fordham, we aim to reward our best people with opportunities at every level. In addition to overseas secondments, we often transfer people who are keen to broaden their horizons to other divisions. And sometimes we transfer people a little further than another floor. We’re happy to share our staff with any of our clients or international contacts who may be in need of quality people (but only for a little while).
Simply stop!
We even offer career breaks. Some of our people just want a year off. Mostly travel, sometimes with, sometimes without a work component. Typically post CA, sometimes extended time off is just the ticket!
