What stays the sameThe core to our business remains exactly the same. Same business owner focus. Same experienced hands at the wheel. Same relationships. This is a new and exciting era in our evolution as a focused and professional firm helping build our client's businesses and their personal wealth. We invite you to explore our new website and get to know us. HistoryIn 1961, our founding partner, Bruce Fordham, established an accounting practice in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra. Unusual for those years, Bruce was also a registered liquidator and incorporated the associated concepts of asset protection into the structure of his growing private business client base. When Bruce was joined in 1967 by a bright young graduate, John Clark, the focus turned to taxation. Together they pioneered such (now everyday) concepts as trusts, income splitting and (amazing for the time) superannuation. John was subsequently responsible for the development of the firm's unique approach to strategic planning, investment management and market focus. It is the integration of all these skills which remains as the cornerstone of the firm's unique competitive advantage. Bruce retired in 1990 and John remains as Chairman of the practice. It was only logical to return to the name "Fordham". |
