Aileen Fulton

For Aileen Fulton, a typical great day involves solving complex problems, visiting clients, negotiating with the ATO, running team meetings and getting a new client. Nothing seems to slow her down. It must be her Queensland upbringing!

Educated and raised in the northern city of Toowoomba, Aileen commenced her working career as a graduate for a local accounting firm. She learned the fundamentals of accounting and taxation servicing the mainstay of the town – privately owned businesses.

The time came for a new challenge with a big four firm…in Darwin. Aileen loved the experience of Australia’s frontier city for several years but eventually transferred to Brisbane. During her period with the firm in both Darwin and Brisbane, she worked solely for “middle market” clients, further building her core knowledge with a slightly different style of client.

Eventually in February 2004 the lure of Melbourne became insurmountable. Most of her Toowoomba friends had moved down and she was quickly snapped up by Fordham. Her background made her ideal for the firm’s exclusive business owner focus.

Her boundless energy and enthusiasm saw Aileen become a key part of our Motor Dealer Specialist team. She worked hard to build her knowledge of the motor industry. She developed a remarkable client service approach which sees her regularly advising clients on matters as diverse as business management, taxation structuring, estate planning, valuation, finance, MBOs and of course, the intricacy of selling a dealership. Aileen particularly likes working with new industry entrants to help them get started with acquisition, LMCT, licencing, floor plan and franchisor approval.

In a specialist market where clients have big personalities, Aileen “holds her own!” Her down to earth approach sees her well suited to this market. She takes an active role in presenting seminars and writing articles, newsletters and publications.

Aileen is passionate and driven to deliver the best product and the best service. She works hard to deliver the best outcome for her clients. It must be the Queensland upbringing!
