Rachel Williams

Rachel Williams is serious about her team, her services and her clients. It is her passion to always deliver a proposition that clients want, value and need. That makes Rachel a stand out practitioner.
Growing up in Central Queensland, even education was a challenge. Rather than undertake years 11 and 12 via correspondence, Rachel boarded in a town which offered the VCE. She moved to Toowoomba to commence her Bachelor of Commerce and she obtained a traineeship with a local accounting firm. Full time work and part time study is definitely the hard way to become qualified. But for Rachel, hard work was in her blood!
In time, Rachel grew restless and wanted to move to a bigger city with a bigger firm. She chose a big four accounting firm, initially in Darwin, then Brisbane and eventually transferred to Melbourne. During that time, Rachel undertook a variety of large and interesting projects with her clients including tourism and infrastructure projects.
In April 2003, Rachel joined Fordham in a Business Services team. Her background and experience were quickly directed to her team’s substantial Corporate Finance transactions – highly complex transactions, transactions requiring project management of the negotiations, structuring, taxation, documentation and execution of each aspect. Transactions that most practitioners might see once in a lifetime, and then only as a passive observer watching experts run the project. Not Rachel. During the period from 2003, she and her team were referred to six other major projects by the original client. Testimony to the excellent outcome each and every client received.
Rachel’s clients respect her systematic and thorough approach to all aspects of their relationship. She drives excellence and innovation in her team through research, product development and training, and is currently undertaking her Masters of Taxation.
For Rachel, every client must be properly structured to pay the best taxes legitimately possible, have their personal assets protected, have a business strategy to build profit and value, have a succession plan (at least in discussion phase), be building wealth outside the business, have their estate planning properly completed and their retirement plans well under way. As Rachel’s team, clients and referrers know, she has an uncompromising standard for excellence and an absolute passion to deliver the best.
