Richard Brodie

As part of the firm’s business advisory services division, Richard has been exposed to a wide range of taxation and consulting assignments, including franchising, structuring, valuations, sale transactions, asset protection and estate planning.

After his appointment to manager, in 2001 Richard was seconded to the international tax division of our associated firm in the UK- an experience that was invaluable for consolidating his tax skills.

On return from the UK, Richard continued to develop his taxation expertise. Appointed to director in 2004, Richard's current service focus revolves around the needs of the business owner and their business.

In particular, Richard is known for his large private clients, his knowledge in corporate transactions and his skill in franchise consulting. In recent years, Richard has been actively involved in numerous significant business acquisitions and sales. Each transaction involved significant preparation, complex documentation and careful execution. All aspects of taxation, disclosure, due diligence, negotiation, settlement and subsequent integration or investment, were all meticulously managed.
